            Was Marilyn murdered or did she commit suicide as reported? Marilyn Monroe was an American actress, model, and singer, who became a major sex symbol, starring in a number of commercially successful motion pictures during the 1950s and early 1960s. I think this is very fascinating because Marilyn Monroe was famous and had everything going for her yet people believe that she committed suicide. I just do not understand how someone that appeared to be so happy and look like she was enjoying life to commit suicide. Normally you hear of someone who is depressed or young and does not like life that commits suicide. Not a beautiful and rich actress, model and singer. The pieces just do not fit together.
            On Saturday, December 13, 2003 at approximately 3:49 p.m., 6-year-old Chance Douglas Smith was reported missing from his grandfather's residence located in Locust. The investigation revealed that Chance was killed in a location other than the horse pasture where his body was found. I find this unsolved crime very fascinating because the little boy was with his grandparent in the morning and then in the afternoon he disappeared. It is interesting because first, the boy was only six years old, so who could possibly be after him? Second, he was not even at his normal house, he was visiting his family, so who did the person know this? And lastly, how did no one see or hear the little boy being taken away or killed? All of these questions run through your mind, yet there will never be any answers.
