Unsolved Mysteries

When I first heard this topic I immediately thought of Jimmy Hoffa, the notorious Teamster leader who was involved with a lot of shady organized crime.  Hoffa was actually in prison for some time during a 13 year sentence when he received a Presidential Pardon from President Nixon, under the condition that he step down from his position with the Teamsters. Jimmy Hoffa was last seen at the Machus Red Fox which was a suburban Detroit restaurant on 7/30/75 and was never seen again.  He was pronounced officially dead on 7/30/82 and many rumors about the location of his remains have always lingered even till this day.

Another famous unsolved mystery is the hijacking of a Boeing 727 by DB Cooper on 11/24/71 who took his $200,000 extorted ransom money and parachute and jumped from the plane never to be seen again. This case is still open by the FBI and many theories still remain to who this guy was and where he went.
