Present Detectives

Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler from Law and Order SVU are examples of present detectives.  Both of these detectives are tough and in the end always solve the mystery.  I think that this show is popular because it is very suspenseful and has a lot of twists.  The small romance between the two also makes it interesting.  I also believe that this is a good and popular show because you can't figure out the perpetrator till the end.
