1. Hannah, Spencer, Aria, Emily (Pretty Little Liars)- these
four girls are on a mission to figure out who murdered their best friend Ali no
matter what is happening to them along the way
2. Emily Thorne (Revenge)- Now that she has figured out the
people she believes that killed her father, Emily is out to get revenge on the
people who did it. However, along the
way there are many people who get in her way and come into her life that she
never expected. The journey is not as
simple as she might have originally planned and now she also has to discover
who is on her side and who is not.
I believe that these characters are
so popular because of the drama that they bring to television. Both of these casts of characters make up a
show that keep people on the edge of their seats. No one wants to be bored when watching a
television show. When watching either of
these shows the audience gathers information with the characters and can try to
figure out the “bad guy” on their own.
This element keeps people entertained while also including them in the
show as though they are a part of it.
