Detectives of today

Two examples of detectives today would have to be Kate Beckett and Rich Castle from the tv show Castle, another would be Jack Bauer from the TV show 24. They are popular because the mysteries or investigations they do and solve are very entertaining and is very catchy. For example, my dad, mom, and i always watch Castle because it amuses us. The cool thing about Castle is that he is a famous author and just want to be along side a detective to help write his new story. As he is trying to write his new book he is also helping Kate figure out her mysteries. Jack Bauer in the show 24 is part of CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) they find out who the terrorists are and stop them. This show was action pack and extremely addicting. I loved it because it was a cliffhanger after every episode and you couldn't wait to see the new episode a week later.
