One example of an unsolved mystery is Elizabeth Short, also known as the "Black Dahlia". Her body was found in two pieces in a parking lot in Los Angeles. The killer was never found and the investigation was one of the largest in LA history. I find this mystery very fascinating for the fact that Elizabeth was an actress that was murdered, and that after all the investigations that took place, no one was able to find a lead on the murderer.
Another fascinating unsolved mystery is the Zodiac Killer. This is one of my favorite mysteries ever, because i find this very scary that some ordinary man could have gotten away with such terribale murders. He killed atleast five people and injured more, and the worst part about it he basically did it for the thrill of killing humans. I find the Zodiac Killer to be very creepy and the fact that he was never caught is even more terrifying.
