Modern Day Knights

    In today's world, I think that there are a number of people who you could consider knights. When thinking about knights, one can say that they are always there to serve/protect people, come to the rescue, put others needs before their own and display bravery and loyalty. If one thinks about it in the modern world, people still fit that. for example, firefighters are always willing to put their lives on the line to save any person who is in need of their help. They will run into a burning building and are willing to die just to save another life. Another modern day knight is a police officer. They go out everyday patrolling our streets to prevent any harm from coming to society. they take an oath of bravery and loyalty to the people that they protect and serve. The final people whom I consider a modern day knight is our military men and women. these people give up their lives to protect our family and friends from foreign invaders. They vow to keep us safe and put their lives on the line everyday to keep that vow. To me, these three groups of people are our modern day knights that serve our communities.
