I believe in today’s day and age that Honey Boo Boo is a hero mainly to Elementary and Middle school students. However, I see Honey Boo Boo as a hero as well. Honey Boo Boo is 7 years old, competing in pageants, has a TV show, saving money to go to college, and is getting paid. She has started her dream at young age so when she is older who knows what else she could be doing. This girl shows America that anything is possible at any age which allows her to looked as as a hero.

Secondly, Barack Obama is a knight to the African American Society. He is the First African American to become America’s president. He is allowing all African Americans to know that they can accomplish any goal. From African Americans being slaves to becoming the president has been a long and drawn out process but now permits hope for anything and everything. For taking a stance as a nationwide leader this is truly why he is a modern day night.
