examples of how people become heros

Two specific examples of ways someone becomes a hero is by performing a courageous act that no one else would ever attempt. My first example of a hero would be the firemen who went into the twin towers in an attempt to save the people inside when know they probably would not make it out alive. Another example would people who flew jets during the wars because you had to be incredibly brave to fly jets at high speeds and be in a dog fight with another country you are in battle with.
