Modern Day Knights

I think the characteristics of a modern day knights are similar to those of medieval times. Humbleness comes to mind when I think of a knight, putting others before themselves not allowing pride to determine their actions while helping others even when it is an inconvenience to them.  As a criminal justice major I like to think of those in law enforcement as knights. These men and women are brave and work for the good of society.  Which are also more overlapping characteristics of medieval knights and modern day knights.
