I am not sure if we were suppose to do two heroes from the movie or real life so I will do both.
Movie 1 Merlin was an average citizen in that time that had a job equivalent to a peasant. After Merlin watched the battle he came to the conclusion that the Knight could not be killed with the average weapon. After doing some research Merlin found out that he need a special sword that deals with a dragon. He eventually obtains that sword and becomes a hero none to not many.
Movie 2 In this show the second hero that helped Merlin become a hero was a girl(I forget her name). When Merlin was desperate for a sword she knew that her father had the most perfect sword under a bed. Even through she stated that her father would kill her if he found out that she stole the sword she was still willing to take the risk. She stepped up in the spur of the moment when she was needed the most is why I think she is a hero.
Real Life 1 I believe a hero in real life is the average citizen doing CPR on a victim that does not show or have signs of life. Saving someone's life is a key component in becoming a hero.
Real Life 2 On a high jacked air plane, victims do whatever they can to disengage where the plane is attempting to land. They know that they are going to die but they save thousands of lives for showing those terrorist who they are made out of.
