Ways to become a hero

Many people can become hero's by doing everyday things, such as there jobs. Nurses, police men and women, and fire firghters just to name some examples perform heroic acts in my eyes everyday just by going to work and helping others. Other ways to become a hero is stepping forward to help someone, even if its the simplest task or if its to save a life. Such as many of the characters did in Merlin, Arthur was the prince and was in line for the crown when the Black Knight came and started challanging the knights and defeating them. Arthur challanged him also and everyone tried to stop him from going through with it but he wanted to fight. Both the knights that stepped up and Arthur were being heroic because they stepped up to save there village. King Uther was not about to let Arthur fight this battle; Arthur was his only son and he menat the world to him. So he stepped in and took his place to fight the Black Knight and defeted him. King Uther was a hero becaue he stepped in to save his sons life and he also defeated the Black Knight.
