Becoming a Hero

According to the viewings that we watched in class being a hero is a lot of work. Even though it is cool to watch and experience from an outside point of view to me it is a journey that I would never want to take. It's a journey that involves lots of sacrifice, pain, heartbreak, and a whole lot of butt kicking. I think that's why people enjoy heroes so much because they lives of passion and it seems that at any moment it could all end so they are always remembered because they do what ordinary people dream of on an occasional basis to be able to be remebered for saving people. On the show Merlin, we saw the character of Arthur he want to fight so that he can save his people and in truth he was a hero but I thought the person that was really amazing was Merlin. Merlin was willing to do anything from Arur he went through such great lengths to save Arthur because he knew the significance of what he meant to the nation. Merlin was able to be sucessful usually most people think of heroes of the one who fights and sheds blood but to use your gifts to save people is truly a miracleous thing we seem to accept the brawn but we forget about the brain. Also when it came to Sam and Dean it very nobel of them that they fight for people that they don't know but that what tue heros do they save people who they are connected to because it is right and that moral guideline is what all great hereos have and nothing will change that ever.
