Knights of Today

Knights are people who protect others. In today's world, this could be a lot of people. The military protects the country so they are modern knights. The police, firefighters, doctors and nurses are modern knights because they protect towns and communities. On a smaller scale, I think parents/guardians could be considered modern knights as well because they protect their children. Most parents make sure that their children have everything they need to be successful and keep them out of harms way as best they can. Parents risk many things in their lives to ensure their child is safe and has the best chance to thrive.
