In order to be considered a knight you have to stand up and fight for what you believe in even if it means risking your life.
In the clip from Merlin there were two characters that had the characteristics of a knight. First of which as Merlin himself who risked trust of the dragon, went against his fathers wishes and made a sword in order to keep the prince alive. This act of valor also in return saved the kings life as well. The other knight would be the King. Even though he knew he was risking his own life and was meant to die, he still took the challenge for the prince.
In the clip from supernatural the character most like a Knight would be the brother who risked everything to retrieve his brothers soul. Even though he promised to give up the ghost hunting career he continued to risk his life to better others. In this episode he risked his life for the life of the virgin girls. The second brother would also be considered a knight from the heroic acts of protecting the virgins.
