Nobody Turned Hero

The first example of a nobody turned hero is the men and women of the fire and police departments that responding to the tragedy of 9/11. These people walked into work ready to do the job they do on the daily and became heroes when they responded to the call of duty and saved the lives of hundred while some gave their own. These people's names and faces were unknown to the majority of Americans before that day. From there on after their names and faces were plastered across the media outlets labeled heroes.

The second example I chose of everyday heroes is men and women in the military. When they are not in uniform or on active duty they wear street clothes, work everyday jobs in offices and have families. When they put on that uniform and are called to duty they are heroes, fighting to protect the liberties of our nation, sometimes at the expense of their own life. That is the definition of a hero.
