Nobodies who become heroes
My first example is first grade teacher Kaitlin Roig of Sandy Hook Elementary School. Kaitlin hid her first grade students in a bathroom on the day of the shooting. Before the shooting, Kaitlin was just an ordinary first grade teacher to her students, but after that day she became much more. Kaitlin became a hero, not only in the eyes of her tiny little students, but in America's eyes. She told her students that she loved them very much because she thought that was the last thing that they would ever hear. Kaitlin is now teaching her students the importance of helping others. She has created a website where students and teachers can help other schools in need.
My second example are the military men and women. A lot of them are nobodies until they join the military. There, they become heroes. They fight day in and day out to protect us and our country. They fight to stay alive in harsh conditions while we sit at home living our ordinary lives.
