Heroes
In class, we discussed in length about the different kinds of heroes there are in life. We learned about the obvious heroes, everyday heroes, and supernatural heroes. We discussed the complexity and diversity of each type and how some may contradict certain beliefs we have about heroes. I think overall, it was a lesson that you can't judge someone based on what you assume. Just because someone doesn't look like a stereotypical hero, doesn't mean they aren't. I also think that this lesson can be used outside of literature, in everyday life. You do not truly know what someone's morals/motives are until you get to know them and judge them based on facts. Therefore, you should not judge people before you get to know them.
