The first link is a TV series in Italy. It was first an Italian novel that was soon turned into a TV show. We see that a lot in the US. The second link is to a movie made in France. It is about a french killer. These are more about gangsters and crimes then detectives. But when thinking about it, gangsters and hitmen have to be detectives too in a way. They have to creep around and find things out about the people they are watching. I guess I just took a different take of the word "detective".
